Reilly Cardella is a 23-year-old professional dancer, singer & character performer; entertaining thousands of guests across the world at Florida's famous theme parks. With over 20 years of extensive dance & musical theatre training from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Reilly moved across the country at just 17 years old to jump into her performing career at an early age. She began working at regional theatres in professional shows such as Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn (Linda Mason), A Chorus Line (Maggie), and Dolly Parton's 9 to 5. Reilly then began working as a full-time dance teacher & choreographer in Central Florida, as well as a reliable substitute dance teacher for studios in the Orlando area. After teaching, she began working in entertainment at theme parks, performing at Universal Studios Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Peppa Pig Theme Park and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. At each theme park, Reilly uses her dance training to bring well-loved characters to life in live choreographed stage shows. She also sings & dances in special events throughout the year, creating special memories for every guest she interacts with. Outside of her career, Reilly is a life-long childhood cancer advocate. After losing her best friend Kassie to childhood cancer at just 12 years old, Reilly spent her childhood wondering why kids had to get cancer too. In May 2020, she started an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Kassie's honor called "Love for Ladybug." Inspired by Kassie's nickname "ladybug," her nonprofit creates care packages full of toys, blankets, and other necessities to send to kids with cancer. Reilly's goal is to create legislative change for pediatric cancer that demands more research funding and affordable treatment options. The importance of being an advocate and role model is what drew her into competing with The Miss America Organization; surrounding herself with hundreds of women alike who care so deeply about bettering our world. Reilly is so excited to share a message of hope for kids with cancer in Largo, and guarantee no family feels alone in their fight against pediatric cancer. Follow Reilly's journey as Miss Largo on instagram at @MissLargo2022 and watch her bring national attention to childhood cancer on the Miss Florida stage in June!
